We lost our beautiful boy Zak, an eight year old Jack Russell last week, and left him with our fantastic vet to be cremated. We were overwhelmed yesterday when we picked his ashes up, they come in a very tasteful oak casket with "Zak" engraved onto a gold plaque on the top. Even the cardboard box it came in was very nice, with some dried flowers on the top. After looking up Summerleaze it was a great comfort to know that he was treated with the respect and care that such a loved and treasured member of our family deserved. Thank you very much Summerleaze for what you've done for our boy, we couldn't appreciate it more. Sleep tight Zak x

We lost our beloved boy, Kaizer on Sunday the 12th January 2014. The hurt and pain still remains for our sudden loss, our boy was a beautiful staffy at the ripe old age of 21 of our years. Devastated does not come close, we were lost without direction. we called our vets (riverside veterinary care, Ebbw Vale) who guided us through the options, at Midnight i might add and suggested Summerleaze for his cremation. i had doubts and concerns but i need not have worried, although no contact has been made at this time, when our boy was returned to us, the professionalism shone through, a heart felt thank you to all the team there.
To my beloved boy, words will never be enough to tell you how much you are loved and missed, you have been there for me through everything in my life and i miss you with every single beat of my heart. Kaizer, rest now and sleep well my sweet sweet boy, you will be forever loved and forever missed.
Dad X

After collecting our beloved cats ashes this afternoon from our Vets, we would like to offer Summerleaze our grateful thanks for the professional, dignified and caring way in which "Tigger" was laid to rest. The beautiful oak casket and name plate, along with the sprig of dried flowers and the certificate proves how professional you really are. We would especially like to thank the team at Abbey Vets in Abergavenny for all their help, advice and care shown to Tigger. To Tigger - we hope we did right by you and that you had a happy and contented life with us. We are all missing you dreadfully, as you were such a character and we know you'll be mouse-munching at Rainbow Bridge. Goodnight peach puss. Xxxx

Sadly on the 14.12.13 we had to make the heart-breaking decision about our beloved miniature schnauzer Flyte to be put to sleep due to his illnesses. When we decided to have him cremated, we didn't know what to expect and where he was going. Our vet had told us of your crematorium but seeing as we hadn't had the need of your services before, we didn't know what to expect from you. When we finally had our dog's ashes back on the 19th December, we were very pleased with the casket, which had a place for a picture as we had asked for and a brass name plaque, which looks lovely. We also visited your website and saw how much of a beautiful place it was, and we are thankful and glad to have had the service we had for our baby.

We have just returned from collecting our beloved Jack Russell bitch, Cas, who had recently celebrated her 17th birthday, but was diagnosed with heart problems soon after. Her health went downhill, and we decided to have her put to sleep, to avoid her suffering any more. It was a hard decision to make, but one that we know was for Cas's best. I had said many years ago, that Cas would be buried in our garden when her time ended, but we decided on having her cremated. We looked online and viewed many pet crematoriums, but as soon as we saw Summerleaze, we new that this was the place to take her.
We were amazed at the dignity shown to Cas, and were allowed as much time as we liked to say goodbye to her. We were treated with respect and understanding, which made the whole process of dealing with the formalities, that much easier. It was hard to drive away from Summerleaze, leaving Cas behind, but now we have her back in her home, we feel much happier. Cas was presented back to us in a lovely box with her name on, together with a sprig of dried flowers on top. When we got home, we were so pleased with the way Cas's casket was placed in the box,and we were glad that we had a name plate engraved for her. We now have it displayed on one of the cabinet's in our lounge, together with a photograph of her..
We would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff at Summerleaze. for the way they helped us with dealing with, what was, a very sad occasion. Also, our grateful thanks go to Simon Moat and his staff at the Park Veterinary Group, Pontypridd, for the care and professionalism shown to Cas, while she was under their care.
My wife and I will say that anyone who has to go through the loss of their pet, to contact Summerleaze, and let their professional staff help guide you through your sad time.
Thank you to all concerned.

Sadly, my very special little beloved syrian hamster 'Bobbins' passed away aged 2 yrs 4 months in October. I chose to have him cremated so that I could move him with us if we ever move house again. Summerleaze were absolutely amazing, they made me feel like my hamster was special and important (many people don't consider smaller animals to be so) and the casket was beautiful with his name engraved in gold, it was perfect. To top that, when I collected his ashes from the vets, the box that the casket was in had some beautiful dried flowers, or hops flowers, on the top which were such a considerate choice for my pet as he would have absolutely loved to first sniff and then try eating them! Plus I got a certificate. Thank you sooooo much to all the staff at Summerleaze for you care, consideration and sympathy.

My beloved angel Pledge was put to sleep on 28 October 13, my heart broke and part of me died with him. Like many others, I put my faith in my wonderful vet who looked after Pledge from day one in 2000, and now I know where he was taken and cremated. Collecting his ashes yesterday, the beautiful box and certificate told me he was looked after, the website and testimonials tell me that he was in good hands, it brings me some comfort. Thank you Summerleaze. Pledge, I love you and thank you for being the light of my life for so long. I hope I did right by you along the way and until we are together again sweetheart, sleep tight. xxx
