To Summerleaze,
I lost my gorgeous girl 'Drizzts' on 4th January. She made it to just past her 14th birthday 22/12/15. I still can't find the words to express my loss & heart break over my beautiful black Labrador that I've had since she was 7 weeks old, I miss her so much & am wondering when the tears will stop.
What I can express is my gratitude to Drizzts wonderful vet Hermann Heyl, who we were lucky to stumble across in the latter part of her life. We were so lucky to have had his consistent care & support for Drizzts & we are so fortunate he saw her through to the end. We've never come across such a compassionate & professional vet, we feel so very fortunate for this.
Drizzts lived the first half of her life in Devon & these last few years she lived mainly in Essex & visited Devon a few times a month. When I realised she was being taken to Wales for her cremation, I was devastated that she was being taken so far away, & so worried that she wouldn't be cremated individually. I decided to email Summerleaze as I needed some confirmation from people that were seeing Drizzts through the last stages. Debbie & Julieanne were wonderful & kept me updated via email. You are truly wonderful people & I cannot express how much your emails helped. Knowing you had recieved Drizzts safely & letting me know each step of the last bit of her journey. I have Drizzts ashes & certificate. Thank you so much.
I have no idea how this emotional roller coaster is going to go, but I do know that thanks to Hermann (Drizzts vet), & Summerleaze, it's made it that little bit easier. Thank you all so much. From all Drizzts family xxx Night Night my gorgeous baby girl, I miss you so much xxxx

on the 19th of November we had our beloved old English sheepdog Wylie put to sleep. Wylie was a much loved pet one of the family for eleven years and he has left a big hole in our life. His partner Bentley another old English is lost without him. It was lovely to receive Wylie ashes back in such a beautiful casket along with the flowers and certificate, brought comfort to us both. So thank you to all at summer leaze and to our vet maja
Colin and Shirley Nash says (06/12/2015 11:01:00):
On the 23rd November 2015 after more than 17 years of joy and companionship we had to say farewell to our dear baby girl Molly Dog. Saying goodbye that morning was heartbreaking Molly had been a member of our family for so long and now the house is so empty and quiet. Giving us strength was how peaceful she looked afterwards as we took her on one final car ride to Summerleaze. We took great comfort from the way we were treated and left to take our own time with Molly in the chapel and the next day collecting her to come home in the lovely box with dried flowers on top.
Next Spring we will scatter her ashes on the beach where Molly spent so many happy years chasing sticks and running in the surf.
Thank you Summerleaze for helping through this sad period by giving us the knowledge that we cared for Molly right to the very end.
Sweet Dreams Baby Girl, enjoy chasing Annie and Patches.
